Privacy Policy
This notice explains what personal information Elyago Studio uses, why it is used, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
Raymond Elliott is the data controller for personal information handled through this website and Studio correspondence. Elyago Studio is a trading name of Raymond Elliott. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email privacy@elyago.com.
Information used when you visit
The hosting and security systems necessarily receive technical request information when you visit. This can include your IP address, request time, requested page, response status, referrer, browser or device information, and security events. It is used to deliver, secure, diagnose, and maintain the website on the basis of Elyago Studio’s legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure service.
Active web-server logs are intended to be retained for no more than 30 days. Copies may remain in restricted production backups for up to three months before those backups expire.
When you contact us
If you use the Contact form or email Elyago Studio, your name where supplied, email address, message, delivery metadata, and any information you choose to include are used to understand and answer your enquiry. This is normally based on Elyago Studio’s legitimate interests in corresponding about the Studio and its products, or on taking steps you request before entering into a contract where that applies.
Basin receives Contact-form submissions, filters automated abuse, keeps a recoverable copy for up to 30 days on the current plan, and sends a notification to Elyago Studio. Basin may process security information such as an IP address, browser information, referring page, and submission time. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse.
General correspondence is reviewed for deletion 12 months after the last meaningful exchange. Privacy questions and rights requests are reviewed for deletion 24 months after closure. Relevant records may be kept longer where needed for an active contract, complaint, legal obligation, dispute, or legal claim. Namecheap’s provider restoration backups may retain deleted mail for up to four weeks.
Emailing an enquiry does not subscribe you to product or marketing updates.
Product updates
If you register an interest in one of our products, Elyago Studio uses your email address to send occasional development and availability updates for that product. Your registration does not subscribe you to updates about other products. Processing is based on your consent. Brevo manages the subscription and double-opt-in confirmation and delivers the emails.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an update. Active subscription details are kept while you remain subscribed and the update service continues. After you unsubscribe, your address may remain on a minimal suppression record so that your choice can be respected. Registering interest does not promise product access, availability, timing, price, or support.
Spam protection
The Contact and Elyago LMS interest forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Cloudflare receives technical and security signals needed to perform that check, but not the ordinary form-field contents. This processing supports Elyago Studio’s legitimate interests in protecting its services.
Services we use
We use a small number of service providers to operate the website and its communications.
The website is hosted by Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland, with RunCloud providing server administration tools.
Basin receives, filters, temporarily stores, and emails general Contact-form submissions. Basin is operated by Moonshot Ventures Inc. in Canada and uses service providers in Canada, the United States, and the European Union.
Brevo manages product-interest registrations, confirmation emails, and updates. Data for these services is principally stored within the European Union.
Namecheap provides the Studio’s email service. Cloudflare provides the Turnstile security checks used to protect the Contact and Elyago LMS interest forms from automated abuse.
These providers process information only as needed to supply their services to Elyago Studio. Some support or security processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. Where required, the provider must use an approved international-transfer safeguard.
Cookies and similar technologies
Elyago Studio does not currently use public-site analytics, advertising, behavioural profiling, or optional marketing cookies. Necessary form-delivery and security technology may operate when you use the Contact or Elyago LMS interest form. Because the current site does not use optional browser storage requiring a choice, it does not display a consent banner. This will be reviewed before any new analytics, embeds, advertising, or comparable service is introduced.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact privacy@elyago.com to make a request. Elyago Studio may need enough information to confirm your identity and understand the request. You may also complain to theInformation Commissioner’s Office, the UK data-protection regulator.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated when the website’s services or data use changes. It was last reviewed against the production website and its current services on 4 October 2026.
